Originals from Africa (OfA), a strictly wholesale company, brings you unique, original products from Southern Africa. The company was founded by Liv Pikul and Puso Kirby, brother and sister. Liv is based in the US and Puso ran the African operation. Sadly, Puso was tragically killed in a car accident and Liv could no longer continue with the business. She opted to pass it along to a dear friend and one of her artisans, Bernard Domingo.

 

Bernard has been in the US for approximately 2 years on political asylum because of the instability in Zimbabwe. He is working on bringing his wife and children over to the US too, and this process has taken almost 2 years for him to accomplish.

 

Although Bernard (Ben) is residing in the US, he still supports his artisan group in Zimbabwe. There are over 15 artisans who work for Ben, and they in turn take care of their families with the income they receive from making wire & bead. Ben has currently only been selling his wire & bead products at art & craft fairs in the summer on the East Coast. He is now very excited about expanding this to the wholesale business. He begins by  continuing to supply Liv's customer base of over 250 stores and hopes to grow this business over the next 3 years.
